Michael Wright DDS, MS

Dr. Michael Wright is a nationally recognized Prosthodontist whose practices in Bethesda, Maryland—just north of Washington, D.C.—is dedicated exclusively to prosthodontics and full-arch implantology. With over two decades of experience, Dr. Wright has provided world-class care in both large dental service organizations (DSOs) and private practice settings. His outstanding work has been featured in Bethesda Magazine and Washingtonian Magazine.

Dr. Wright earned his certificate in Prosthodontics and master’s degree in Oral Biology from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. A proud member of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics (AAFP), he was awarded second place for the prestigious Tylman Research Award. As a respected leader in his field, Dr. Wright has presented his work at the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) and has been published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry (JPD). Dr. Wright is a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Nobel Biocare Implants.

In addition to his clinical and academic achievements, Dr. Wright is the inventor of a patented mouthguard design worn by elite professional athletes, holding two U.S. patents. His innovative work earned him a National Science Foundation (NSF) research grant to develop a smart mouthguard initiative in collaboration with the University of Maryland, where he also participated in the prestigious I-Corps program alongside leading national startups.

Dr. Wright is the co-founder of DENTOURAGE, an innovative education company offering lecture-based and hands-on surgical training to clinicians across the United States. His mission is clear: to EDUCATE, EMPOWER, and INSPIRE THE FUTURE OF DENTISTRY.

Having placed more than 10,000 dental implants and completed over 500 All-on-4® treatments, Dr. Wright is a true expert in advanced implantology and digital dentistry.
